Mark Todisco has been serving as the Clerk- Treasurer since September 2017. Mark is a 1976 graduate of Indiana University, Kelly School of Business. He moved to Plainfield in 1986. He and his wife, Linda, have three sons and six grandchildren.
Mark has served on Optimist Board of Directors and coached youth sports within the Plainfield Optimist Program, Plainfield Teenage Baseball, and Travel Baseball Program for over 12 years. He served six years as President of the Plainfield Red Pride Booster Club. He has had the honor to be a Servant-Leader for the Plainfield School Board for 23 years.
Mark brings over 40 years of private-sector background and training to the Clerk Treasure office, the fiscal agent for the town, including management experience in:
- Customer service
- Senior level projects
Mark is responsible for all financial record keeping and management. In addition, his responsibilities include:
- Accounts payable and receivables
- Audit controls
- Bank reconciliations and investments
- Public meeting documentation
- Timekeeping and payroll
