NOTICE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION AND NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PLAINFIELD BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS THAT AMENDS AND REPLACES THE BOARD’S NOTICE OF HEARING TO HOLD A SPECIAL MEETING AND/OR CONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION TO CONDUCT AN EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINARY HEARING 

PURSUANT TO IC 36-8-3-4


Notice is hereby given by the Plainfield Board of Police Commissioners  (the “Board”) for the Plainfield Police Department (the “Department”) that the Notice of Hearing posted  on Monday, May 16, 2022,  regarding the Board convening  at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, for the purpose of holding a special meeting and/or executive session in connection with an employee disciplinary hearing pursuant to I.C. 36-8-3-4, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A,  is hereby amended and shall be replaced in its entirety by the provisions contained herein.

The Board will convene at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 31, 2022, in the Conference Room at Plainfield Fire Territory Headquarters located at 591 Moon Road, Plainfield, Indiana to conduct an executive session to:  (1) receive information concerning an employee’s alleged misconduct in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(6)(A); (2) discuss, before a determination, an employee’s status as an employee in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(6)(B); (3) discuss a job performance evaluation of individual employees in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(9); and (4) receive information about and interview prospective employees in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(5).

Following the conclusion of the Executive Session, the Board shall conduct a Special Meeting beginning at 11:45 a.m. to consider taking final action on the matters referenced above and/or to consider such other matters that may come before the Board at that time.

Notice is hereby given that the Plainfield Board of Police Commissioners (the “Board”) for the Plainfield Police Department (the “Department”) shall convene on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room at Plainfield Fire Territory Headquarters located at 591 Moon Road, Plainfield, Indiana 46168 to conduct a Special Meeting. The Board will conduct an employee disciplinary hearing pursuant to I.C. 36-8-3-4. The Board also reserves the right to conduct all or any portion of the hearing in Executive Session as allowed under Indiana law and in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(6). Therefore, this Notice also serves as a Notice of Executive Session for Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. for the Board to: (1) receive information concerning an employee’s alleged misconduct in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(6)(A); and (2) to discuss, before a determination, an employee’s status as an employee in accordance with I.C. 5-14-1.5- 6.1(b)(6)(B). If the hearing is conducted in a Special Meeting instead of in an Executive Session, deliberations will be conducted in Executive Session following the hearing or as otherwise announced at the hearing. The Special Meeting and/or the Executive Session may be continued and be reconvened by the Board from time to time as may be determined necessary by it to complete the hearing and deliberation process by the Board’s announcement of the date, time and place of the reconvened meeting and/or executive session on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BY THE PLAINFIELD PLAN COMMISSION

Pursuant to applicable law, the Plainfield Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on June 6, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., at the Plainfield Fire Headquarters, 591 Moon Road, Plainfield, Indiana on a petition requesting an amendment to an approved Architectural and Site Design Plan to add additional passenger and trailer parking spaces.

The property is located at 915 Airtech Parkway.
