Plainfield International Festival

Due to COVID19, the 2020 Plainfield International Festival has been cancelled.

In December of 2018, a small group of Plainfield residents and community leaders met to discuss creative ways we, as a community, could come together and enrich the lives of our children, ourselves and the friends around us. We gathered many ideas as a group and determined there was a strong desire to have a multicultural event here, in Plainfield.

The Plainfield International Festival was created to introduce diverse cultures to members of our community, to support, encourage and increase awareness for the many cultures who live, work and reside here.

On Saturday, October 5, 2019, Plainfield hosted the Inaugural Plainfield International Festival at Talon Stream Park.

The festival is organized and supported by the Town of Plainfield, Plainfield Community School Corporation, Plainfield Community Schools Legacy Foundation, Hendricks County Community Foundation, Kiwanis Club of Plainfield and several community members.

The Plainfield International Festival will be held the first Saturday of October at Talon Stream Park--located just north of the Richard A. Carlucci Recreation and Aquatic Center.
